Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use stepintoscene.com ("the service"). By using it or buying credits you agree to them. Contact: support@stepintoscene.com.

The service

You upload a photo, pick a video template ("scene"), and we generate a short video with third-party AI models. Results are AI-generated: they vary between runs and may not match the photo or the template exactly.

Credits and payment

• Generating a video uses credits. A standard video uses 30 credits and an HD video uses 60. The cost is shown before you generate.
• Credits are sold in one-time packs. There are no subscriptions.
• Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase, are not transferable and have no cash value.
• Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record, or by PayPal. Prices are in US dollars and include applicable taxes unless the checkout page says otherwise.
• You can buy and generate without an account. Videos made without an account are available for 3 days. If you create an account later from the same browser, your credits and videos move to it.

Refunds

See our Refund Policy. In short: if a generation fails, the credits return to your balance automatically.

What you may upload

You may only upload photos that you own or have permission to use. You must not upload:

• Photos of other people without their consent, or of public figures.
• Sexual, violent, hateful or illegal content, or anything involving minors in an inappropriate way.
• Content that infringes someone else's rights.

We may block content, refuse a request, or close an account that breaks these rules. Credits used on blocked requests may not be refunded.

Your videos

You keep the rights you have in your photo. Subject to these terms and to the AI providers' terms, you may use the videos you generate for personal and commercial purposes. You are responsible for how you use and share them. Our templates are inspired by public trends; they do not include original footage or the likeness of the people in those trends, and we do not claim any rights in them.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant we will note it on the site. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
