Terms of Service

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of Step Into the Scene at stepintoscene.com ("the Service"). The Service is operated by Wang Wei (王维), an individual operating under the laws of the People's Republic of China ("we", "us"). By using the Service or buying credits you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live), and that you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy and our Refund Policy. 1. The Service

You upload a photo, pick a video template ("scene"), and we generate a short AI video from it. The Service is a digital product delivered online. Results are generated by AI: they vary between runs and may not match the photo or the template exactly.

AI models

Videos are generated with third-party AI models that we access through fal.ai:

• Wan 2.6 Flash (Alibaba) for the "Day of the Dead pet" scene.
• Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Lite (xAI) for the "Hit the Road Dude" scene.

The generator shows the model before you generate. The current list is always in our Acceptable Use Policy. The quality and availability of the Service depend partly on these providers. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

2. Accounts and guest use

You can buy credits and generate videos without an account. Videos made as a guest are available for 3 days in the browser you used. If you create an account later from the same browser, your credits and videos move to it.

If you create an account, give accurate information, keep your login private, and tell us at support@stepintoscene.com if you think someone else used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Credits and payment

• Generating a video uses credits. A standard video uses 30 credits and an HD video uses 60 or 90, depending on the trend. The cost is shown before you generate.
• Credits are sold in one-time packs (current prices on the pricing page). There are no subscriptions and no automatic charges.
• Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase. They are not transferable, can't be exchanged for cash, and are only used on this site.
• Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake or Creem, each acting as merchant of record. The provider shown at checkout is the seller of record for your purchase and handles the payment, receipt and taxes. Prices are in US dollars and include applicable taxes unless the checkout page says otherwise.
• We never see or store your full card details.
• Credits are added to your balance as soon as the payment is confirmed.

4. Refunds and failed generations

If a generation fails or is refused by a safety filter, its credits go back to your balance automatically. Refunds of purchases are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Billing questions

If you think a charge is wrong, please write to support@stepintoscene.com before disputing it with your bank, and include your order email. We reply within 2 business days and fix confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

6. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short, you must not upload photos or create videos involving:

• pornography or sexual content,
• violence or gore,
• hate speech,
• sexual or harmful content involving minors,
• deepfakes or impersonation of real people,
• content that infringes copyright or trademarks.

You may only upload photos of your own pet, of yourself, or of people who have given you explicit permission. You also must not try to get around our safety checks, scrape or resell the Service, or use its outputs to train competing AI models.

Every photo is checked automatically before generation, and the AI models run their own safety filters. We may block content, refuse a request, delete videos, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Credits used on prohibited content are not refunded. 7. Your content and the videos

• Your photos. You keep the rights you have in your photo. You give us a limited licence to process it only to generate your video. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.
• Your videos. Subject to these Terms and the AI providers' terms, you may use the videos you generate for personal and commercial purposes. You are responsible for how you use and share them. If you share one, don't present it as real footage.
• Our templates. Scenes are inspired by public trends. They don't include original footage or the likeness of the people in those trends, and we claim no rights in them.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, or that a video will look a particular way. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

9. Ending use

You can stop using the Service at any time, and ask us to delete your account at support@stepintoscene.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, is used for fraud, or when the law requires it. If we close your account for a reason other than a breach, unused purchased credits are refunded.

10. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Please contact us first at support@stepintoscene.com so we can try to resolve any problem informally. None of this affects your right to go to the courts, or to use the consumer protection rules, of the country where you live.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If the changes are significant we will note it on the site, and where we have your email we will tell you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new Terms. If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
